FWIW Ron...I always knew there was kids there, though admit I did not know of the abuses suffered there by so many...in fact when I left home to go to Murchie House...rumor had it in my small town that I was going to the "funny farm" I honestly think I was "lucky" I didn't end up there....I had some very caring case workers who really supported me and wanted to see me get the help I needed. I was abused when I was a young child, on many levels...sexual, physical, emotional... the abusers were separated from me when I was 9 but it all started to come out in my very early teen years...and full blown rebellion kicked in! I was very fortunate that others out there saw through my mask of rebellion and saw who I truly was on the inside.

Anyway...I guess my own abuse it why I feel such a kinship to anyone who suffered abuse....
